Naturactor Cover Face Review! + First Impression

Celebrities have been raving about this on Instagram and even on Facebook. So I thought, why not give it a try? And here it is!

I bought the shade 140 and the price is Php480.00. Price ranges from 450-550 online and some even offer it on a higher price. 480.00 will do so I gave it a shot. So supposedly this will give you that flawless and dewy finish. So what is my take on this? Keep on reading...

At first I thought the shade was too light for me but when I waited for 3 minutes for it to set on my face it became okay. The smell is like the Chin Chun Su cream that women use in the 90s to whiten their faces. Are you aware of that product? It is on the photo below:

Same smell but I don't remember what Chin Chun Su does. So getting back to my topic...

My skin is super oily and acne prone. I get a lot of breakouts especially on my period so it is my ultimate quest to look for products that won't break me out and will reduce my acne and oiliness if possible.

Naturactor really is dewy. It gives you that flawless effect but the problem is dewy is not good for my skin type. I oiled up within the 3 hours from the first application and I get to retouch a lot. So I would say that this product is good for dry skin because it is very moisturizing.

After 6 hours or wearing it without retouching, my face looked like an oil factory and the foundation is almost out of my face. So I can say that this is not long lasting.

There are pros and cons to this foundation which is why I will rate this 3 stars out of 5. I like the coverage because it is build-able and the finish is next to flawless. However, the dewy effect is a bit of a let down for me so whenever I will use this in the future, I shall keep it with me for touch-ups.

I have heard of the Octard product which, as they say, has a matte finish. I shall try it soon enough but I saw that it is more expensive than the Naturactor. Is there any products that you'd like me to cover? Comment down.

Wet N Wild Megalast Velvet Matte Lipstick Swatch + Review

Hello my loves. Here is my first ever review. Wet N Wild has earned its spot in my heart because I have been using them for a year now and I love the quality and pigmentation that it offers. The color pay off is amazing and it lasts up to 8 hours on me.

One of my favorite nudes. It is just like a light pink with peach shade and it is so pretty on brides and proms.

 2. Cherry Bomb
Dupe for MAC Diva. Need I say more?

My favorite! This suits me pretty much in any occasion.

6. Pink Suga
This looks too pale for me but this is perfect when I do the Korean Gradient Lips

This shade is so funky I love it.

9. Spotlight Red
Taylor Swift Red kind of red.

10. Vamp it Up
Oh this shade is a total head turner.It is almost black but it has a purple tones in it as well.

11. Sand Storm
This shade is perfect for office gals. It gives you that professional look.

Cursed Merida | A Disney Princess Gone Bad Collaboration

Merida is one of my favorite Disney Princesses beside from Mulan. Her personality is a lot like mine. Stubborn, does not listen to her parents, Brave, and of course the unrully hair.
In the movie Brave, it was her mom that became a bear so I thought it would be fun if I incorporated that with Merida as her Bad side.
A lot of you have asked if my hair is naturally curly. The answer is YES. But I had my hair rebonded that is why I had to recreate my curls like Merida with my No Heat Stem Curling Technique.

Vampire Makeup + DIY Fangs

Glamourbox Unboxing

 Hey guys! So this would be my first time in subscribing to Glamourbox and all I can say is that it was a great buy! I spent P1100.00 with shipping already and I got a bunch of BYS Cosmetics. Yay!

 Glamourbox is an online store where they cater a lots of cosmetics, skin care, tools, etc. You can opt to purchase individually or subscribe where they offer at least 5 deluxe samples in a curated box delivered to your doorstep. The cost per box actually differs per month depending on what are the products that are curated by the company. Now here is what I got!

1. BYS Nude 2 Eyeshadow Palette

Full Size 12g / P1,199.00

I wanted to buy this palette when me and my boyfriend went to SM Pampanga last Dec 2014. I did not have that much budget by that time for makeup so I passed. But I tried swatching their Nude 2 palette and it was so pigmented. I tried it now again and swatched every color on my hand as you can see on the picture above. Love it. The texture is so smooth and it's not chalky. I highly recommend this palette if you want to have the Urban Decay Naked palette but you can't afford it, try this one instead. It is very similar to Naked 3. It also contains 2 applicator brushes for those who will use this palette for personal.

2. BYS Blush Duo

  Full size 5g / 349.00

Oh the pink shades! These blush duo is veeeery pigmented, I'm telling you. It's matte and smooth in texture. Not chalky which is good. A little goes a long way with this one.

3. BYS Contour Trio in Sweet

Full size 8g / P449.00

So far the swatches of this palette isn't disappointing. I love the contour powder because it blends well and the highlighting powder is matte, not shimmery which is good for matte looks. The blush is a bit satiny and in peachy tone so this palette would look lovely for a natural look.

4. BYS Matte Lipstick in Salsa

 Full size 3.5g / P299.00

I just fell in love with this shade. The texture is creamy and it has a matte finish. I would still need to test if how long will this one last on my lips when I use it the whole day.

5. BYS Brow Definition Kit

 Full size 4g / P399.00

It contains 3 shades of powder which is in blonde, brunette and dark brown. The cream one is a wax that is used to keep the brows in place if you have an unruly brows. It also contains an applicator brush but it is too small and I had a hard time using it.

6. BYS Nail Polish in Astro Gold

Full size 14g / P199.00

I love love love this shade! It is very elegant and sophisticated.

Our Pampanga Escapade!

So here is our one week of adventure. You will see a loooot of food, a looot of traveling and some malling. I'm still new to vlogging so I still am a little bit shy when I try to Vlog at the mall. It's a great thing that my boyfriend, Alvin, kept on reminding me that I should vlog about our moments. Oh, he is such a keeper! If you have watched our Vlog, here is the itinerary of our week.

Day 1.

We planned on buying a new laptop at the mall this day after Alvin's work at their shop so we spent the day watching TV, braiding his hair and entertaining customers coming at Al's Furniture for their orders. We went to SM City Clark after work and ate at Karate Kid for our late lunch. Yum! I really love Japanese and if you plan on going there as well, take your SMAC with you and present it to the cashier. They will give you a freebie! In our case we were given four pieces of California Maki for free. Good deal, huh? After that, we went to the second floor and bought my Dell Inspiron 14 3000 series Laptop  for P33,000.00 with that they gave me a wireless Mouse and a 16 gb usb.
